A NIGHT WITH YOUR CHI OMEGA SISTERS
Please join us for a night out with your Chi Omega sisters on Tuesday, August 3 at 7pm at Bin 36, 339 N Dearborn. Please RSVP to Rachel if you plan on attending.

HAPPY HOUR AT THE SHEDD AQUARIUM
Please join us for dinner at 7pm on Wednesday, August 11 for Jazzin' at the Shedd - $14 a person (includes snacks and refreshments). Please go online and purchase your ticket ahead of time - http://www.sheddaquarium.org/jazzin.html. Afterwards, we will stay and watch the Wednesday night fireworks from their terrace! CHI OMEGA AT LOYOLA UNIVERSITY
As some of you may know, Chi Omega had been invited to start a new collegiate chapter at Loyola University this fall. This is an exciting opportunity to colonize, and also offer some wonderful leadership opportunities. The new chapter will need assistance with events, as well as, advisors and house corporation board members. Director of Extension, Amanda Werner, will be coming the area next month to organize efforts to find these new leaders. There will be a meeting on Monday, August 16, time and location to be determined, but will likely be on campus on the north side of Chicago. More information to come! Mark your calendars now!

ART INSTITUTE TRIP WITH YOUR SISTERS
Please join Chicago Alumnae Panhellenic and Chicago Chi Omega Alumnae on Thursday, August 19 at 5:30pm for a free night at the Art Institute! Please plan on meeting at Park Grill at 5:30pm and we will walk over to the museum. Please RSVP to Ashley if you plan on attending.

SAVE THE DATE : CHI OMEGA FOR A CURE

Over the years, we work together, meet together, and make countless memories in our sisterhood. How about we make a difference for a worthy cause this September, like help end breast cancer? We're are putting together Chi Omega for a Cure with the Downtown Chicago Chi Omega Alumnae Chapter to participate in the Susan G. Komen Chicagoland Race for the Cure® and we're hoping you'll join us.

On September 25th, thousands of people will gather in Grant Park in Chicago to make a big impact on the movement to end breast cancer forever. 75 percent of the money raised by the Race for the Cure stays remains here in the Chicagoland area to provide breast health research, diagnostics, screening, treatment, services and education for uninsured or under insured women. The remaining 25 percent goes to fund national research to discover the causes of breast cancer and, ultimately, its cures.

So far several sisters from different chapters are on board and we have raised close to $500 in the past week! Our goal is to raise at least $2,000. With your help, there's no limit on how much we can raise and the impact we can make. No matter what chapter you're from, you're welcome to join our team. If you cannot participate in the race, we encourage you to help get a donation toward this worthy cause.

WINE TASTING EVENT IN OCTOBER - MORE TO COME!
If you are interested in joining the planning committee for our upcoming Wine Tasting Philanthropy event in October, please contact Elizabeth. There will be more information to come but if you are looking to get involved with the Chicago Chi Omega Alumnae Chapter, here is a great opportunity to meet new women while planning an event for the fall with the proceeds benefiting Make-A-Wish!
